Our Whistleblowing Policy


In line with responsible corporate governance practices, the Club has put in place a Whistleblowing Policy which will come under the purview of the Audit and Risk Management Sub-Committee (ARMSC).

The Policy’s objective is to establish proper framework to promote responsible whistleblowing, without fear of adverse consequences, particularly pertaining to policies and procedures regarding:

1. incorrect financial reporting
2. submission of concerns regarding unlawful activity
3. activities that are not in line with the Club’s policy, including:
    a.   code of conduct/business
    b.   forgery
    c.   misappropriation of funds or classified documents
    d.   abuse and misrepresentation of power and authority
    e.   failure to comply with laws and regulations
    f.   harassment
    g.   corruption and bribery
    h.   any other activities which otherwise amount to serious improper conduct

If you have evidence of any of the above, you can write to the following email account which will only be received by the ARMSC: whistleblowing@seletarclub.com.sg.

This policy is applicable to:

1. All staff employed on full-time, part-time or temporary contracts.
2. Any party, including the Management Committee (MC) and sub-committee (SC) members, who has any business or dealings with the Club or its employees

Whistleblowers can be assured that any correspondence will be treated with utmost confidentiality. All disclosures of dishonest or fraudulent practices shall be treated seriously and proven incidents shall be treated with appropriate disciplinary action.
